  Maggie Berardino
Sales & Operations Manager

Maggie is originally from St. Louis, Missouri. She has a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Statistics from the University of Missouri. She spent two years studying abroad in Perth, Australia and London, England. After college, she moved to Tokyo, Japan and taught English there for three years. Since returning to the States she has spent time volunteering in Costa Rica, Uganda, and Sri Lanka. Maggie now enjoys helping people begin their journey overseas as a Travel Advisor for BridgeTEFL.


  Mandy Chavez
Travel Advisor

Mandy has a B.A. in Spanish and a minor in Linguistics from New Mexico State University. She studied abroad with Bridge-Linguatec in Spain during her junior year. The following year, she volunteered in Guatemala and helped in a local after-school program. After graduating from college, she served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Madagascar from 2006 to 2008 where she taught English to middle-school children. Mandy's other travels have included Egypt, Morocco, Mexico, and numerous countries in Europe.
She is proficient in Spanish and Malagasy.


  Joshua Mickelson
Travel Advisor

Josh graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead Minnesota with a B.A. in International Relations, Spanish and Russian studies. During college he studied abroad at the University of St. Petersburg in Russia where he first became interested in Eastern Europe. After teaching English to immigrants and refugees in the US, he served for two years as a Peace Corps volunteer in Bulgaria where he taught English in a high school for Western European languages. Having traveled extensively, he speaks Spanish, Russian, and Bulgarian, and now enjoys helping others to realize their goals of teaching and traveling abroad.


  Matthew Clark
BridgeTEFL Jobs Advisor

Matt received his B.A. in English Literature from Wichita State University in Kansas, where he also played for the men’s basketball team. In 2006 he joined the Peace Corps with his wife and spent 26 months living and teaching English in Ukraine. During his travels in Eastern and Western Europe he developed a passion for other cultures and languages. He possesses an advanced knowledge of Russian and hopes to learn Spanish.
