TEFL Certification Courses
BridgeTEFL offers six different world-class teacher certification programs. Graduates of all of our programs are trained in the latest methodologies and coached in the skills necessary to teach English effectively in any country in the world.
The TEFLOnline.com course covers the same basic material as our onsite teacher training programs, but it can be done from your own home and at your own pace. It takes approximately 40 - 120 hours to finish, depending on the course you choose, which is typically completed over the course of six to eight weeks. TEFLOnline.com modules include study material, video tutorials, review quizzes, and written assignments—and courses comprised of 60 hours or more include guidance from your own personal tutor.
The Bridge IDELT™ (International Diploma in English Language Teaching) is an intensive four-week, 140-hour course that prepares you to teach English anywhere in the world.
The
IDELT™ is offered worldwide ONLY at BridgeTEFL Authorized Training Centers, which have been evaluated and recognized as meeting our rigorous standards and quality assurances. All IDELT™ graduates at any of our Authorized Training Centers worldwide will be issued an official certificate from BridgeTEFL headquarters upon course completion. Official transcripts may be ordered upon request for trainees applying for college credit. The
IDELT™ has been recommended for 6 graduate-level credits at over 1,500 American universities.
BridgeTEFL's intensive 140-hour IDELT™ - Blended certificate program is designed for those who want a comprehensive training program in half the time of standard courses. This program covers the same core material as the 4-week Bridge IDELT™, but with less time in the classroom. The Bridge IDELT™ - Blended consists of our 60-hour TEFL Online Diploma followed by two weeks of real-world classroom instruction and experience at our training centers worldwide.
Official transcripts may be ordered upon request for trainees applying for
college credit. The IDELT™ - Blended has been recommended for 3 graduate-level credits at over 1,500 American universities.
The Cambridge CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) is also internationally recognized and prepares teachers for entry-level ELT positions. The 120-hour, 4-week standardized course is offered only at Cambridge-approved training centers worldwide, including our center in Denver, Colorado, USA. The CELTA program includes classroom instruction covering the fundamentals of ELT, observation of professional teachers, and practice teaching sessions with real language learners.
TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificates are offered by a variety of providers in training centers around the world. BridgeTEFL represents selected programs in order to provide a larger variety of TEFL training locations. Although the TEFL courses we represent may vary in content and structure, they all cover what are accepted as the essential topics in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Graduates of these programs will be issued a certificate of completion from the partner training center.
Bridge Weekend TEFL Courses allow you to get certified to teach English—or specialize in a particular teaching topic—in just one weekend! Our convenient weekend format consists of 20 hours of class time over the course of two days. Our Weekend TEFL blended packages combine our weekend courses with online training, resulting in up to a 140-hour certificate! Bridge Weekend TEFL Courses are offered in locations across the USA.
